The project involved the interior design and furnishing of a house designed by Sinas Architects & Maria Mamoura. The curved walls of the house presented a significant challenge in redesigning both the common areas and the master bedroom. The fireplace was designed as a cone that protrudes from the wall, aligning with the architecture of the rest of the house, where straight or orthogonal volumes are absent. Cement mortar was selected for the flooring because, as a cast material, it does not impose a new architectural grid. Instead, it enhances the sense of movement and flow created by the curved walls and undulating roof. The kitchen, the composition of the master bedroom, and much of the furniture throughout the house are custom-made from chestnut wood.
